This introduction to game cookery will give you the skills and confidence to cook exciting and delicious wild meat and teach you all the preparation and kitchen skills you need.
A stones-throw from the North York Moors, Malton has an abundance of superb Partridge, Pheasant, Venison, Wild Rabbit, Wood Pigeon, Hare and of course Grouse – ‘King of the game bird’.
All the dishes are all prepared from scratch with expert instruction so that cooks of all abilities can gain from the teaching, learning how to prepare and serve wonderful game birds.
10.00 Arrive at the Cookery school for tea, coffee and biscuits. Gilly will take you through the days program and issue you with your aprons and menu packs. Dishes are prepared are eaten throughout the day with a glass of wine or two. Your day concludes at 2pm – Remember to take your apron and menu packs with you so you can replicate the dishes at home!
