Dear Customers and Friends,
Following the Prime Minister’s daily briefing recently the Government has decided to close all restaurants, bars, pubs and any other venue where people mix socially. We have therefore closed The Talbot. We do this with a heavy heart and great sadness but we know that it is in all our best interests to do so. As you know our main focus will always be the well-being of our people, our guests and the wider community.
We will of course keep you updated and, in the meantime, we hope that you all stay safe and well.
The whole team at The Talbot
The Talbot is a beautiful seventeenth century riverside coaching inn set in the award winning foodie town of Malton, Yorkshire. Really we're a restaurant with 26 cosy rooms and food at the heart of everything we do. Close to the North York Moors and stunning coastline, expect a warm Yorkshire welcome with roaring fires & lots of cosy corners. The Talbot is relaxed and rustic: come in your wellies, bring the dog and enjoy a perfect Sunday roast or a pint of local beer.
